Scalp Micropigmentation Explained

What is scalp micropigmentation?
Scalp micropigmentation is the latest and greatest non-surgical, low cost solution to baldness or thinning of the scalp. To keep it simple, scalp micropigmentation is similar to the process of a tattoo on the scalp. The difference lies within the needles, the depth in which the specialist penetrates, and ink used during the procedure. Similar to tattooing, the scalp is injected with thousands of tiny dots that creates the appearance of stubble or a buzz-cut. For clients who are experiencing thinning, the procedure creates density and allows for the appearance of a fuller head of hair. In order to satisfy the client’s needs and create the most realistic look, our specialists use organic inks that never fade to blue or green as typical tattoo inks do. The needles used during the procedure are also much thinner than a normal tattoo needle to allow for the appearance of tiny hair follicles.

Why should I get Scalp micropigmentation?
Scalp micropigmentation will give you the appearance of a full head of hair, shading areas where thinning has occurred, and to giving thin hair more density.  Scalp micropigmentation gives the appearance of a hair line. Scalp micropigmentation is also used to camouflage scarring on the scalp.

What does Scalp micropigmentation entail?
Upon consultation, you and your specialist go over the type of look you are aiming for. Over the course of 3-5 sessions your specialist will inject hundreds of tiny dots to the areas of your scalp which need coverage. This will serve to replicate the appearance of a hair follicle.

I found it interesting when you shared that scalp micro pigmentation can help give you the appearance of a full head of hair by shading the areas where thinning has occurred. My brother just mentioned the other day that he is concerned about his hair as he has some bald spots that are quite obvious. I will suggest to him doing scalp micro pigmentation so he can have an appearance of a full head of hair.
